I know my parents have gotten me Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero for Christmas, and they're sitting in the back room. And do you know how hard it is for me to sit here and not go back there and get them right this second? The temptation to rip them open and start playing is so big I can't even begin to describe it.
I need to start writing for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) slashfightclub - possibly that will distract me from my Guitar Hero want... :-P
Also, has anyone else been having stupid formatting issues since LJ redid all of their shit? I've noticed it in a couple of people's posts, but I'm hoping there's more. I know I go back and fix mine whenever I see it. It's just getting so annoying. I mean, I started a new paragraph, you don't get to decide to lump all the shit together! For fuck's sake...

Feeling Christmasy today. Finished getting the tree up and decorating it, and me and the family are about to leave now to go to a Christmas party at a friend's house. Totally looking forward to it, friend is an awesome lady. And food will be awesome! XD
My Aunt is coming down from Tennessee Christmas Eve and staying until New Years. I'm very excited, I love her dearly. And my mom and her are very, very close, so it will do my mom good to see her. Especially after to hell of a year my mom has had.
My dad has been pretty good about all the Christmas stuff - he usually sets out to ruin Christmas for my mother and myself by being the biggest jackass about anything Christmas related - but he helped me get the tree down from the attic yesterday and hasn't had any smart-ass things to say about spending for Christmas gifts and the like... Except now that we're getting ready to leave for this Christmas party, he's acting like a giant asshole. Why? Because he'd rather stay home and play his computer games. I will never fucking understand the man.
This is the fun part of Christmas. Why is he being a jackass...? omfg. And you say 'just stay home if you don't want to go' - and that just pisses him off more.
Whatever, I'm looking forward to it. He just has a tendency to say really snide, cutting, embarassing shit in front of people when he's in this sort of mood. So, here's to hoping we'll have a good time, he won't upset my mother, and he won't make an ass out of himself...

I've pretty much got it narrowed down to those four. Which isn't very narrowed down at all. :-/
